MY Father's Notebook by Kader Abdolah.

My Father's Notebook is a story of Aga Akabar , a mute and deaf man which has been told by his son Ismail while deciphering the notebook of Aga akabar written in cuniform.
This story starts in a small village Jirya, near Teharan in Iran.Hajar marries to a nobleman Aga haldi Khorasani and becomes his sigeh wife.She gives birth to seven children.Aga Agabar,the youngest borns a deaf and mute.During first month only she comes to know about his deafness and muteness and she tries to hide him from every one.When Kazem Khan,Hajar's brother comes to know about his nephew, he calls his sister and tells her that he will help her.He also tells her not to hide child from world. He promises her that he will teach him the special language of deaf and mute.When Aga becomes 9 yera old his mother dies and he starts living with his uncle.One day Kazem khan takes him to the sacried caves of Saffron mountain and shows him cuniform incriptions of old Persian king and tells him to observe and learn.
After coming back to home kazim khan gives him a notebook and pen and tells him to scribble whatever he wants and thus Aga Akabar starts writing all his thoughts in his own code cuniform language and he keeps writing till the end of his life.After his death his son Ishmail gets this notebook through courier and he starts deciphering the code language of his father and starts revealing his life story.
Through father's notebook only Ishmail comes to know about his father's first marriage, sacred well of saffron mountain,Raza Shah's railway track etc etc.Ismails starts telling his fathers story as well as his own life simultaneously.

From his childhood Ismail becomes the mediator between his father and the world.He always acompanies his father wherever he goes.Ismail becomes Aga Akabar's voice.

तेहरान पासुन चार पाच तासाच्या अंतरावरील जि-या नावाच्या गावात जन्माला आला.त्याची आई तेथील जमिनदाराच्या घरी काम करत असते आणि त्यांच्या संबंधातून जन्माला आलेला हा त्यांचा तिसरा मुलगा. हा जन्मत:च मुका व बहिरा असतो.
